Maxwell Granger, who was born and raised just up Highway 101 in Sonoma County, is the newest associate with The Goldman Law Firm (Firm). Maxwell was admitted to the California Bar in November, 2024. Less than a month later, he had rolled up his sleeves and put on a tie and appeared for one of the Firm’s clients in an Unemployment Compensation Appeals Hearing. Maxwell has also helped multiple clients obtain favorable judgments in small claims court and has assisted others in ongoing litigation.

Maxwell takes great care in his work and never turns down a learning opportunity whether it be litigation tactics, wage and hour issues or the medicine or dentistry involved in one of the Firm’s malpractice defense cases. He is particularly interested in business law, having obtained a Certificate of Specialization in the discipline from the Golden Gate University School of Law in addition to earning his Juris Doctor. While a student at Golden Gate, Maxwell represented a client in a successful mediation before the California Civil Rights Department through the school’s Women’s Employment Rights Clinic.

Prior to entering the legal field, Maxwell obtained an undergraduate degree in physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he spent two years working in a single-molecule biophysics laboratory. Mr. Granger approaches his legal assignments with the same scientific attention to detail. Mr. Granger has enjoyed integrating into the Firm and has, in a very short period of time, become a huge contributor to our Firm’s ongoing success.
